My name is Russell Pollock, and I am the founder and managing agent for Pollock Insurance Agency. I purchased a small, captive agency in 1999, and we took it independent in 2011. We have grown in leaps and bounds over the past 25 years. I am a salesman at heart, and I love working with my clients to find the coverage that they need at a price that fits their budget. My duties include not only writing new business but collaborating with our long-term clients to make sure their most valuable assets are covered properly. I am also responsible for overseeing our staff and making sure the business side of the shop is taken care of.
I have been married for 41 years to Rita Pollock, who is an RN, and we have two children. Garret Pollock is our oldest and he is involved with the agency as our marketing and social media manager. Emilee Pollock, our youngest, who is also a Registered Nurse, manages to find time on her days off to help with the family business. I have been a member of the Grady County Chamber of Commerce for 30 years and served on the board of directors on two separate occasions.
